Influence of Fastener Failure on Dynamic Performance of Subway Vehicle

The track fasteners may be damaged by fatigue and impact load during long-term subway operation, resulting in the failure of connecting components between rail plate, spacing support becomes larger, an increase its dynamic deformation, affecting vehicle’s running performance, and, severe cases, endangering safety. A vehicle-subway system model was created to study performance vehicles when failed. multi-rigid, body spring damping is used describe vehicle system. for using finite element method (FEM), performances under various fastener scenarios are calculated, as well comfort safety scenarios. findings show that has little on but it a significant wheel unloading ratio.
